I'm in France. Before I came, I asked the friends I'm staying with if it was OK to bring my HARRIS/WALZ t-shirts. At first they said yes, but pointed out that folks don't wear 'political stuff', that's it's rarely done, at least in France. I brought them anyway because they originally said it's OK. Then when I got here, the tone changed and they didn't seem happy that I wanted to wear them, so I haven't. But, they despise DonOLD as much as we do, and worry he might get re-elected. I told them I wanted to show everybody that we were working hard to DUMP TRUMP, but it didn't move the needle.

I'm miffed for several reasons. In America, it's a way of life to show your political stripes and not be quiet. It is, after all, what our country is all about - free speech and all of that.

The other reason is, why do people here feel it's not a good thing to show your political stripes? Don't they want to freely express themselves and have a sense of moving their country in the direction they think it should go? Or am I over reacting and they simply feel they show what they want and believe in when they vote?

It made me realize just how much we have to get rid of DonOLD and save our democracy. And when I get home on Oct 13th, I'll be wearing NOTHING BUT HARRIS/WALZ t-shirts!

VOTE BLUE, VOTE BLUE, VOTE BLUE
